IMO Mac redeemed himself in Harbs' eyes with his play last postseason, & the team was hoping that seeing the reward for having applied himself to his craft had convinced him to keep doing it. Unfortunately, his level of play this year strongly suggests he's reverted to doing the minimum necessary to keep the paychecks coming. (My guess is that he realized he'd be let go in 2014 & there wouldn't be much of a market for him in free agency.) The Party Bus was no big thing but it reinforced the notion that Mac doesn't put his responsibilities to the team & his teammates before having a good time--& at that point he was doghoused.

Buzzwords I come out with are 'quickness' 'zone blocking' thinking he is not just an upgrade but also a fit for the tweaked blocking scheme. (KO should benefit a lot once Monroe gets the terminology down)

None of our linemen are quick coming off the ball. They
are playing high and lazy, not fast and low.

Monroe is the best lineman we currently have. He'll
play quick, hard and low.
