Re: Jaguars trade Eugene Monroe to Baltimore Ravens
Pretty sure this is the last year of his contract (not 2014). Could be wrong, but have seen 5 year deal singed before 2009 season in a couple of places.

Relatively speaking, McKinnie isn't very expensive either. He may be kept on as back up. Would make sense.

Aaron Wilson @RavensInsider 5m
Eugene Monroe draft pick compensation is unclear, but it will be for several picks, according to sources.

Re: Jaguars trade Eugene Monroe to Baltimore Ravens
My guess is that after the bye week when Monroe gets up to speed, Harbaugh says sayonara to BMac.
Here's some info on Monroe. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugene_Monroe

Re: Jaguars trade Eugene Monroe to Baltimore Ravens
Not saying you're wrong but Wilson is usually pretty good with this stuff. 2014 would be nice:

Re: Jaguars trade Eugene Monroe to Baltimore Ravens
Odd move. I mean, I like it, but odd. I don't really think it is the OT's that have been the main problem with the OLine, but it is still an upgrade over the existing players.

Depending on what we gave up...I love this trade. Hopefully less than a 2nd
Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Re: Jaguars trade Eugene Monroe to Baltimore Ravens
Depends on the cap ramifications, wouldn't you say? Here's a summary of Big Mac's numbers for 2013 and 2014 and here's the same for Monroe but I'm not sure how to read them. Paging B-more Ravor...?
