    Re: Arthur Brown?

I can't wait to see B Williams. I was loving the dude play in preseason. Granted it's preseason, but I really like his work effort, and toughness. It would be nice to get him and Canty back to lighten Ngata load. That's great and long been waiting to see this dude.

And A. Brown will be fine. The fellas here put me down with doing the draft( thanks gentlemen) and I think he going to be a good one for us this year. Next to Smith, and behind this new D line, he should do well, I'm on the bang wagon for him. I think he will be one of the key to get to NY this year.

He injured his chest in mini camp too.

If he's healthy for this week, I'd just start him. Get him and Elam playing together, they are the future.

I think when you use "Fact" and "hopefully" together, it is no longer a fact... Bc

I'm more than content for the team to take their time.

I don't see what the rush is...especially with the defense playing as well as it has so far.

The coaches will put him in when they feel he's ready.
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Does this belong in the McKinnie/Jones thread?

    Re: Arthur Brown?

I say rest him this week, give him a warmup against the Dolphins and have him ready for Green Bay. We'll need all of the coverage skills we can muster for that one.
