And in other news: The Browns are still, well, the Browns

Yes, I'm bored. But with Cleveland next on the schedule, I found this humorous (and sadly typical):

In short, the Brown's recently-renovated training facility includes a dozen or so inspirational quotes painted on the walls throughout the facility. Almost all of which are "misattributed, incorrectly transcribed, or indeterminately fraudulent."

Love the final line from the article:

"The final tally is four correct quotes, nine incorrect, and one of questionable origin, for a winning percentage of .286, which would put the Browns hallways in fourth place in the AFC North, one game back of the Browns."

(ETA: BTW, the best part of the article is the comment section)

They can add that to the wall, it will fit right in.

    I love this one

Seriously, does that organization and fan base thrive on ridicule? I am starting to think so.

I'm thinking of Camstillo and his lasting effect on our O Line. The Browns D is going to pressure and Cams " just look nice at them " strategy will not work. I hope not but I'm still seeing WEAK. CAM - STILLO

Almost as bad as having Earnest Byner in the ROH.

Quotes are often difficult to attribute to their original authors and someone at the home office in Cleveland should have checked them out before stenciling them all over the training facility; should have just left the authors out. As Bilbo Baggins famously opined, 'better to be penny wise than pound foolish."

Better to remain silent, and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.
That is on the wall of the last 20 Browns GMs. Too bad they didn't heed those words... Bc

Browns heading is right direction. After Ravens lose today, reality will set in.
