I know it is highly unlikely, but if we wake up tomorrow and Ed Dickson is a free agent, would any of us really be shocked?
Yes. Because we hold on to draft picks way too long and non draft picks for not long enough. So maybe we cut Marlon Brown to make room for a 6th safety

You can't have Stokely going across the middle taking all those hits. You want him up the seam.

I was told that Furstenburg was actually given more money for the Practice Squad than usual. To me, if that's true, that's a sign that the team recognizes the call up is coming sooner or later.
I don't think you are allowed to give a PS player anything but the set amount. He did get one of the biggest signing bonuses of the UDFAs however.

I can't imagine Joe throwing to Dickson EVER AGAIN - its just a waste of a play. Play Juice as TE with Leach as FB or vice versa,

Clark is slightly more of a waste than Dickson just based on his age but they have to do something pronto. The TE position is basically vacant right now.

I really think we should just put Juice Check out at TE. I'm not certain Furstenburg will suddenly look great against 1st team defenses, and to bring him up, you have to cut someone.

I'm a bit surprised Clark wasn't even targeted after his 1st down play. He had been injured, but seemed to be okay. Dickson's drop just highlighted and accentuated what we've been yelling about with him.

My favorite part of the broadcast was when Marv and Gannon were describing Dickson as a blocking TE. Dickson's hands suck so bad that they must have figured that he's in there to block. Little do they know. Very funny to hear

I heard that and just shook my head.

It was one of many blunders by the announcers.

Spammy had the best quote on this situation, for those not in the game thread.

After Dickson got nailed for holding, "Good news. Dickson held onto something."

That's my favorite quote on this board since Ravenous with the classic, "squeeling like an Asian pornstar taking anal"
"A moron, a rapist, and a Pittsburgh Steeler walk into a bar. He sits down and says, “Hi I’m Ben may I have a drink please?”

Cut Dickson and bring in Furstenburg. Or Shiancoe. Or Daniel Flacco. Or one of the homeless guys sitting outside the stadium after the game asking for change. Basically anyone on the planet but Ed Dickson. Having Dickson on this team is detrimental to offensive success.

With Dickson in there the Ravens might as well be playing with 10 men.
