    Re: Jets vs. Patriots

How bad are the Jets that they can't beat a bad Patriots team? It's like they tried to lose this game.

He's OK but I'll be surprised if he ends up a star. Doesn't seem to have the instincts. (Also weirdly seems to think he's more athletic than he really is re: scrambling/buying time.) Not saying he'll be a bust/worse than Sanchez though.

It was ugly in the end.

So, I take it I didn't miss anything?

Brady can't magically make his WRs better. Jets can't magically make themselves look any worse. Unless Gronk and Amendola stay healthy the Ravens are going to wipe the floor with this team yet again.

See, this is what I love about the NFL. Anybody can be brought back down to earth, anytime, anywhere.

The Ravens suffered from communication issues on the back end, in the opener, in their toughest road game of the season (Chicago second), against the one QB you can't afford communication issues against, when his arm is live.

Sure we bullshitted about the score, but none of us are honestly surprised.

The Ravens are still a good team.

It was ugly in the beginning too. That was a horrible game. I love tough defensive games with low scores but this wasn't it. It was just 2 really bad offenses. The Pats 2-0 though and next week the play the Bucs and have a good shot a 3-0.

Problem is that no other team can challenge them for their division. They have 6 wins almost by default every year. All they have to do is win their home games and they have 11 wins.

Hopefully the Dolphins take a leap this year. They have a solid roster and it's year 2 in Philbin's system. I would not be shocked if the Dolphins rise to the top of the AFC East given how weak it is.

I'll admit I watched the entire game (started late and hate the benefit of skipping commercials, punts)

Those were the two worst offensive performances I have seen in some time. Even including college.

Brady has no one to throw to. That Dobson guy must've dropped a half dozen that hit him in the hands. Can't believe they let themselves get in this state.

Then there was the horrible QB play of Smith, OMG he is not an NFL QB and doesn't look like he has any instincts. Those 3 INTs were just too much to over come

Lastly there was the fight at the end. Gonna be some fines dolled out

Wow. You can say that again! Brady and Edelman tried to play catch all night while the other guys didnt exactly run the correct routes. Luckliy for the Patriots they played the Jets. Geno Smith was horrible.
