So doss will be on the roster the rest of the year. Seems like a total panic move, why cut doss in the first place and not just put Mellette on ir to begin with?

I would think this means they expect Thompson to return soon, since they now only have 4 healthy WRs.

I would think it would depend on other needs. They have 6 now, but once Jacoby and Thompson are healthy, they may need that 6th spot for someone else somewhere else.

great question. When they made that cut there must have been a depth chart for KR and PR and Jacoby Jones wasn't the only name on the list.

So much for Mellette making any kind of contribution this year. Sure hoping Thompson will be back soon and that Jacoby's recovery timeline is no worse than projected. Otherwise, what's next? Talking Mark Clayton out of retirement?
