Re: Game Thread - BAL vs NYJ - Week 2, The Comeback?

1st from the 41, give to Jones for 2-3.
2nd and 7, complete to Coles, 2 DBs miss tackles, and Scott gets him for a gain of 5-6. Close to a first.
3rd and 1, sneak, don't know if they got it. Chains coming out. WTF? it was short an inch and they gave it to them??

1st from the Ravens 49, PA, Ravens read it well, ball basically thrown away as his arm was hit as well.
2nd, ball batted up, and almost picked by Suggs. Mangold knocked it down.
3rd, Clemens throws a crappy ball, but somehow Cotchery gets it, and goes for 11-12 and a first. Don't know how he got that.

2nd and 8, Clemmens SACKED by Landry! Brought the pain on that one.
3rd and 17, Clemmens SACKED AGAIN inside Ravens territory by Gerome Sapp! WOO the pressure is coming now, boy!

Reed back, and no fair catch, and gets up to the 47! Reed is really electrifying from the punt return spot. Block in the back called REALLY REALLY late. Don't know where it'll end up.

while I'd like to see some more scores, I think it's a good time to go conservative...short passes and runs. let our defense win the game.

Jets just cannot do anything against the D.

1st from the 24, ball batted up, Mangold catches the ball, loss of 3. Jarrett Johnson absolutely hammered Clemmens.
2nd and 13, deep, and C-Mac had it blanketed, and he can't get the pick, but it was beautiful coverage.
3rd, Scott drags Clemmens down as he throws, and the ball hits the turf way in front of anyone. Nice defense baby!

Figurs gets the fair catch, drops it but recovers it. Flag for roughing was thrown, but the Jets blocker actually THREW Reed into the kicker, so it was picked up.

1st from the 38, straight dropback, goes deep over the top for Heap, and he makes a BEAUTIFUL catch over the corner! DPI was called, but declined!

if that ball was thrown correctly, heap might've had another TD

    1st from the 25, McGahee for 2-3.
2nd and 8, PA, and to the endzone for Heap, but overthrown. He was open.
3rd and 8, Musa up the middle, modest gain, they'll settle for the FG.

    End of the third.

Stover on from 37-38..five yard penalty for illegal snap.
So 42-43 now...RIGHT down the middle!

20-3 Ravens. Run the clock and get out of town, boys.
