    Impressed with Ray on TV...

He's making really good points, staying on topic, looks confident and is articulate.

None of the over the top stuff either.

    He looks great.

Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Thanks for reminding me there's actually a reason to watch this.

Luckily I can set my DVR from work.

I agree. I was pleasantly surprised at how articulate and lucid he was.

He's not going to be in the booth. He's pre and post game with Stu Scott and Steve Young.

    Really?

I thought he was pedestrian. I'll give him a second look next week.

I thought he did a great job on Sunday as well. I usually do not watch the ESPN stuff anymore but made a point of checking him out and he was great. Very happy for him.

In going to eat some crow here.

He's been on Sunday NFL Countdown and he's doing quite well. I'd like to see him more on the show rather than Monday night.

And man, he's lost a ton of weight!
