Re: Game Thread -- Ravens @ Broncos -- 9/5/13
Please, lets stop calling Huff by Huff and call him what he is, a cream Puff.
BTW, serious concerns about the running game at this point. It was bad in the preseason too.

A Super Bowl victory followed the next year by key injuries and a glaring lack of depth. Haven't we seen this movie before?

Cannot wait for good,bad, ugly.
Offensive play calling. If we see it, they must, right?
Lets get elam out there. Not calling huff a bust yet but I think elam won't be afraid of tight ends
Dallas Clark. Did he lose a loved one recently? Catch the ball
Refs. Make the calls for Christ sake
Marlon, looked sharp
Torrey, same
Secondary sucked hard. Lets get at it next week

Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Re: Game Thread -- Ravens @ Broncos -- 9/5/13
Bad:
I never thought anyone could tackle worse than Ed Reed, but Michael Jigglypuff has proved me wrong.
Smith and Brown are the only receivers who can catch.
I'm amazed a knucklehead like Trawick made the team over Bobby Rainey or Omar Brown.
Ed Dickson is more worthless than a half inch dildo.
We need tackle depth.
Good:
Joe looks in top shape.
Webb seems alright.
Daryl Smith, Jimmy Smith, Matt Elam all looked ok.

My motto was always to keep swinging. Whether I was in a slump or feeling badly or having trouble off the field, the only thing to do was keep swinging. -Hank Aaron
