We knew it was going to take a couple of games into the season for everything to gel. I just didn't think it would be so bad on the defensive side. I thought Manning would be pressured and it just didn't happen. There were lots of blown coverages. Injuries to Oher and Jones. And an all around crazy night. No bridge jumping; just back to the drawing board.

It's hard to play defense when you're on the field forever. They were obviously gassed, and our offense did them no favors at all.

This loss is completely on our shit offense imo.

That said, the Defense sucked in this game, so it doesn' tmake much freaking difference really.

Wagner is a LT all the way. We have no choice at this point with Oher out and no other backups. RT is not a good fit for him, but he's doing what he can with it. Right now he may not be a great gameday fit due to lack of positional flexibility, but IMHO McKinnie is just keeping LT warm for him -- Wagner will be the LT next year, and I think a good one.

Isnt this what preseason is for? The injuries hurt, but the defense has no excuse. Poor tackling, looked out of shape. No pass rush?

I'm not as concerned with the offense since they managed 27 and dropped a ton of passes.
