So they "basically cut him" and then decided to bring him back for camp.... why?

If you basically cut him during the season why wouldn't you actually cut him during the offseason?

Who knows though. I just can't see them carrying seven but each of those guys provides value in different ways. Doss is the most easily forgotten IMO.
True true. Though I think 7 WRs as semi-realistic, and 8 unlikely.

I'm almost mad Doss played well. :p I'm torn in giving him a proper chance but also not losing and seeing guys that I think have higher ceilings, in Mellette and Brown.

Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

I don't get that guys disgust for Laquan, but he has his mind made up that he's this horrible special teams guy, yet played on virtually every special teams unit during the best special teams unit we've ever had.

You might not like him but he's versatile. He's had 9 ST tackles the last two years, 2 fumble recoveries and when he returned kickoffs two years ago he averaged 22 yds. He's a solid if not spectacular ST's guy who can cover, line up at gunner and return in a pinch. There aren't a lot of guys that can do all those things. That's why they've kept him on the roster.

What's more telling is that LaQuan basically receives NO snaps at WR in practice/preseason and has made the team the past 2 years.... yet somehow he's not good at ST? Right.

Williams may or may not make the team this year but he's definitely a good ST guy and will get a shot somewhere else.

I watch the games. Name what units he played on teams? Wasn't many.

That's one way for AA to rebound. Hell of a block.
