Re: Buffalo or Cleveland?
I've been to most NFL stadiums, but I have no interest in returning to dumpy Cleveland, so I cannot compare them.
Even though the Bills stadium is not considered one of the NFL's better facilities, I liked Orchard Park more than most. Without all the club & suite levels of the "modern" stadiums, the upper deck is much closer to the action. The field is lower than the stadium entrance, so there's no need for escalators to get to the upper deck -- just one switchback IIRC. And the fans came across as enthusiastic & informed as our fan base. Lots of Canucks -- I was told that Ontario residents comprise 1/3 of the stadium crowd. Very serious beer drinkers, and friendly tailgaters. Our Buffalo trip was perhaps the cheapest Ravens road trip outside of day-trips to Landover or Meadowlands which we ever took. Easy to get game tickets, below face value in 2007.
We did a five day long weekend trip, via short Southwest flight into Buffalo-Niagara airport. We stayed at Toronto and Niagara Falls, where there was a massive casino and end-of-season light crowds for the boat rides & tunnels under the Fall. It's alternatively a relatively easy drive, via rural interstate highways over the Appalachian mountains north of Harrisburg. In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).

Been to both. Not a fan of Buffalo's stadium, but generally speaking, much more to do in that town. Niagra, not far from Toronto. Decent food.
Cleveland, well...it's not Detroit!

Buffalo is a great roadtrip that time of year, good fans and affordable tickets.

Re: Buffalo or Cleveland?
If you go to Cleveland wait until the day before the game to get your tickets and you will be able to get great seats well below face value. Like other have said there is not much to do there

Hadn't really thought about a Buffalo road trip, but- after reading through the posts and applying some brain cells to the possibilities- this sounds like a good weekend getaway. For those that have been there: please advise about available parking/tailgating areas and input on seats to purchase.

Re: Buffalo or Cleveland?
I had chosen revisiting Miami Gardens over revisiting Orchard Park on back-to-back weekends, but now your comment has me re-thinking. I had to scrub Miami due to a scheduling conflict, so defintely-maybe on headed back to Buffalo & Ontario if we can re-work late September schedules.
I cannot remember the precise location -- IIRC a yellow sided liquor store was just across the street to refill our coolers; the cash lot where we enjoyed tailgating was just a few hundred yards to the stadium. No reservations, and no traffic issues. (However, we like to arrive early for Ravens away games)In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).

I'm thinking about Buffalo too. The Falls, the attractive Canadian side...trying to talk the Boss into it.
