I found me a nice little 10/22 ($225) with a Butler Creek folding stock that was in need of some TLC. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but looks fantastic now.

    Not as good as yours!:)

Why did you delete the pic of your new gun?

Filed the BATFE paperwork yesterday to own this gem of a suppressor.

I recently took a low light home defense class and the instructor sold me me on the notion that if you're going to use a handgun for home defense, you should also use a suppressor.

Having fired a gun indoors without hearing protection, it's the one thing that's always concerned me if I ever needed to defend the house. It's LOUD. Distracting loud.

Very nice HR. I just purchased this from Amazon a few hours ago.

I prefer the combination over the biometric.

I've always thought about that as well. My hearing would be the least of my worries int that situation, but if I could prevent before hand. I'm going to look into this.

It's a worry in the sense it may prevent you from pulling the trigger a second time.

    Great point.

Once the Mrs. gets some more time we'll be taking those types of courses here. www.shoot2live.com

Smart. Shooting at a range is fine, but classes like this really do a better job at a real world level.

We are about to get open carry in TX so I've been looking into classes for gun retention and drawing from a retention holster.

If you have a garage as I do, this is a very vulnerable area of personal protection. Keep your head on a swivel when you're getting home.
