I'm pretty sure the rule is no more than eight games active on the 45-man game day roster, and I think it's cumulative. I also think a practice squad eligible player has to be in his first two years in the league. I could be mixed up a little but I looked it up a couple of weeks ago.

What a shitty shot ESPN had of that final sequence.

Thanks for showing the players and ball as ants.

Well, gents, all in all I am ready for the real deal. Defense looked awesome. Offense hitting and missing. So, next week is last game to make things happen and take some momentum into the regular season. Going to get one last cold one before bed.

    Peace out.

For some reason I thought they could be on the PS up until year 4? Like Sergio kindle but he wasn't active for game day. So I have no idea lol

I'm not so sure that's true, at least for Heap. The Ravens drafted two TEs tthe year before for a reason, and a large part of that was Heap's age and injury history.

Yeah, like I said, I really don't remember the specifics off the top of my head. But now I'll probably look it up. Thanks a lot.

Heap and Mason were purged because of age and speed. Ravens got younger and
faster. Same with Reed. He was old and slower too.

What's a salary cap? Is that like a hat or something that salaried players get?

You are missing my point (purposefully it seems).

The Ravens are ok with letting experience go in lieu of younger players.

You are right. Their 5 million dollar salaries had nothing to do with them getting cut.
