It's a 1 yard drag route vs. zone coverage... a team like Carolina with a bunch of super athletic LBs is going to stop the receiver short of the sticks 9 times out of 10. It wasn't a great play call, but hey, preseason.

IMO TE is a much bigger issue than WR. If Dickson can't play they really don't have anyone else.
