Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Does Jimmy not know he is 6'2"???

He could have gotten a hand on that.

Pretty sure Shipley will get all of the time with the 1's today.

It's hard to beat a perfect throw, which that was, but Jimmy might have had SOME chance if he TURNED AROUND AND LOOKED FOR THE BALL!!!

Don't think anyone expects him to shut Julio down. But I DO expect him to start holding his own, at least occasionally. And he showed no signs of being anywhere NEAR making a play on the last 4 passes thrown his way.

I mean, that was about as perfect of a touch pass as you can ask for, but Peea needs to be all over Jimmy.

A top flight corner would have turned and picked that IMO.

He did look back on that one. He did not see the ball and turned back around.

I despise Matt Ryan because of Julio Jones. It's envy, really, haha. How lucky can you be to have a guy like that. He is Randy Moss minus the head case.
