Yep - JS getting schooled. A 1st-rounder entering his 3rd season should be better by now.

Webb IS gonna be ready by the start of the season, right?

He is covering one of the best in the game right now.

    My God.

Great receivers make corners look bad.

    Let him figure it out.

Just tuned in. Looks like Ryan diced the D up a bit on that drive. Gotta tighten up that pass D

THIS! Incredible play from Torrey but lets see Reed and Tandon

Agreed. Julio is nasty. Cut Jimmy some slack.

Judging by how he reacted I would guess the latter. All the talent in the world but the kid just doesn't seem to have any football IQ at all.
    A definite possibility.

I get what you're saying but it's not like he's running right with Jones and getting outmuscled or whatever. He's not even CLOSE on any of these plays and it's usually because he made some kind of HUGE technique/mental error.

I BELIEVE Jimmy Smith can physically play with any receiver in the league. The problem is that he doesn't seem to know what he's doing at all.

    Weak call there.

Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.
