Palmer is actually a good fantasy pick because he put up some numbers. As we saw last year those numbers just don't translate much into winning

Let me know when he does that in the real season.

I'll give Carson credit. He looked better last night than he did in Oakland. More confident, for sure. I really wouldn't be surprised if his career has a renaissance under Arians, playing with Fitzgerald.

Not totally related, but it's funny seeing my wife's Raider fan uncle blowing up on twitter excited about how good Matt Flynn and Terrell Pryor looked last night. Both had decent nights, but he's like "oh man, Raiders HAVE to start Pryor after this performance"...you mean because he ran for 31 yards while also passing for 88? and that INT looked very Raider like.

That club is going to be belly up this year, again very Raider like

I'm referencing the article which mentions his start in the preseason game genius.

If that O line can hold up enough to keep him healthy I think he could have a career year out there. Fitz is an obvious weapon but they have some good younger guys to catch the ball too. If that defense is close to or better than they were last year that division could be up for grabs. Everyone is sleeping on the Rams and Cards, but I think in the end they are overrating the niners and Seahawks.
