Bisciotti was off the charts! We have the best owner in the NFL by far. The guy just gets it

We truly do. Bisciotti also brought up Deonte's name when talking about hidden gems like Bart Scott.

Apparently Suggs and Rice have been making players run gassers on the side when they are not busy in practice.

The theme for each guy is that they are veterans who know what they are doing and that change is good. Bisciotti talked about the great leadership skills of Harbaugh and how he lets him do his thing. He also spoke about how you have to pay your QB and find that cheaper starter at other positions like Scott, Ellerbe and then he mentioned Deonte Thompson.

Harbaugh talked about getting the right kind of player and knowing you have to make changes. The extra coaches at o-line and on defense have been huge because they are able to work the players even more. Harbaugh believes in hitting and physical play and won't go soft on the guys.

Flacco talked about decision making. He doesn't care if it looks like a running situation when he throws. He makes the read and decides on what he feels is the play that has the best chance to succeed. Then it's execution. He doesn't second guess the decision, ever. He looks forward. He knows he has to develop new receivers and is excited by it. Obviously the money hasn't changed Joe at all.

Ray Rice just said that Joe Flacco grabbed the offense put a choke hold on it and made it his. "We go as Joe goes" was his quote at the end.

Interesting how getting quality owners/personnel/people/etc., doing things the right way, and having the public support necessary to build a successful franchise works out well.

Not too bad, then, I guess, for a city/fanbase that shoulda built a museum...

The best part of Flacco's interview was when he was talking about the loss of Boldin and Pitta, and said something like, "It's not like we're gonna have ghosts lining up out there, and nobody to throw to...we're still gonna have...a DUDE...that's in the NFL playing football for us..." Classic stuff...and classic use of the word "Dude" by Joe!

So happy Bisciotti's our owner. The guy is absolutely a great business owner & understands how the league works. With him at the helm and Ozzie & staff picking talent, I don't see us ever being bottom of the barrel for half a decade the way so many teams remain pitiful. It's a well run organization top to bottom.

One of my favorite parts was the hosts talking about how we are the best (or one of the best) in the league at picking up cap casualties. Jacoby Jones was a great example - he gets cut for cap reasons & we scoop him up. This year it's Canty & Spears. They had a laundry list of guys we picked up from other teams' cap cuts. The way they framed it, it made me realize just how damn good our FO is.......
