Re: JO's Hall Of Fame Induction Thread
I mean you can tell he was reading almost verbatim from his speech, but it was a nice one. Nothing over the top, won't be one of the ones they play yearly as a tearjerker with human interest stories, but that's not who JO is and he went out there and did a good job.
Nice job with the props for us fans at the end and it looked like a pretty good showing by Ravens fans.
Now...I'm interested in the reaction from the crowd when Ray gets inducted...it sounded to me like when he mentioned Ray, a small pocket of people tried to boo before they got drowned out in cheers.Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Re: JO's Hall Of Fame Induction Thread
I think people should go and watch some old Steeler enshrinements.
The small amount of booing is the same as when a Yinzer speaks. It was right in line with that booing and pretty typical when a Browns rival gets enshrined.

Re: JO's Hall Of Fame Induction Thread
That was a solid speech, nothing too special or flashy but all class like one would expect with JO.
B+
Also the booing when Art Modell was mentioned wasn't nearly as loud as it was during Rod Woodson's speech for example, so maybe time really does heal all wounds (to some degree).
