    I think they keep him at that point provided he does what the team tells him to do during his sabbatical. We are likely to have injuries by that point that will make having a fresh guy who knows your system and can play very attractive.

    Marc Anthony didn't do himself any favors last night. Asa Jackson was clearly a better player. Based on last night (which is a dangerous thing), if they do keep Anthony it's only to keep Jackson's spot warm until after the suspension.

    I wouldn't know where to look on BR.com but I've seen it mentioned several times in this thread that Dr. Leigh Ann is no longer with the team. Rewatching the Tampa game and she just ran out on the field

    FWIW, based on the official league transaction reports, Jackson's suspension was actually announced by the league, meaning that he either lost his appeal or never appealed in the first place.

    So, either way, he's gone for 8 games.

    so in which scenario would the league not announce it? or am i reading it wrong?

    Per the CBA, a players first failed drug test isn't announced.

    Each future failed drug test is announced. Once it's announced, it means the appeal didn't happen or the player lost the appeal.

    Pretty sure i read he wasnt going to appeal it
