Good player. Versatile as they come. He was a decent TE for us and I guess the cowboys are bringing him in to play DE. ST contributer too.

He played DE and linebacker for the Ravens too. He's one of those solid utility guys.

Always gave Edgar Jones a LOT of credit for the way he flip flopped for the team...

He played DE, OLB, FB, TE at various times for us.
Went to Redskins for awhile, then the Chiefs, then Saints this offseason.

May never find a niche on D or O, but very solid ST guy.

Purple Reign Show on Twitter is reporting that Ravens are exploring a trade for Kenny Britt. No confirmation, just rumor now.

Personally hope it's not true. Britt's knee issues usually keep him out a fair bit each year, plus his character concerns. Would possibly be an upgrade, but I don't see it working out well.

Weird of all the positions I would see an upgrade happening, I wasn't thinking WR and most definitely not Britt. This just smacks of a fan generated rumor, but who knows. I mean theres the subject of our sucky TE position that only really has Dickson who also didn't play a lick in the preseason. That position is as close to an unknown as you can get.

i would really like this trade before training camp but i was reading that he was having issues with his knee in camp and usually gets one day off per week. i dont think i want the trade after reading that

Kenny Britt is a beast. He ate us alive when we lost to the Titans a couple of seasons ago. But who would we give? And I'm sure the Lions would get in a bidding war with us.

Me too. The Ravens have the cap room to carry him for this season. Also, if he turns out to be a rental and signs for good money elsewhere after the season, the Ravens will get a comp pick for him.
