    DET cut WR Mike Thomas.

    Slot WR with return skills.

    Oh, ok.

Looks like Leach completely overreacted then.

Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

    I always liked Thomas.

    Small, but a nice player.

Bring him in and cut Streeter.

I've always liked him as a lot guy too. With the Lions so thin opposite Megatron I wonder why he was cut. They don't have much outside Broyles and Burleson

Has anyone seen the video of Texans DE Antonio Smith ripping off Richie Incognito's helmet and swinging it at his head? They showed it on Fox Football Daily. I think it's safe to say that he'll be suspended for a while.

Sounds like roid rage. If he would have hit him that would have been criminal.

Big Ben just did his best Sanchez imitation. Pick 6 on a little pass.

Arian Foster taking injections for back pain shooting down his legs? That doesn't sound good.

    Re: Around the League

The Steelers first team units looked awful tonight. Their OL is an embarrassment--two bad tackles, one mediocre guard and one who's barely played, and an average (and ridiculously overrated) center. They have no depth anywhere and are far too old everywhere except that terrible OL. Their QB is a mental midget with a glass body. On paper they are worse than last year's 8-8 team.

Having said all that they always seem to pull it together somehow and overachieve when expectations are low, so I'm still wary of them, but there is NO reason to put them in the top echelon of teams in the AFC, much less the NFL, at this point.

Just saw that......they really like Stills and Toon. I wonder if Breaston might be on our radar.....
