totally sucks. I hate it for any team to lose a player in camp. But to lose Pitta this year is a tough one. It may hurt his long term chances on the team as well, who knows.

Now... yes bring in a vet to compete

Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

This is Ed Dickson's moment to shine, and he will. 10+ touchdowns, 900 yards.

I hope the Ravens resist the temptation to run out and sign some mediocre TE just because he's not a rookie.

I think Juice and Furstenburg are up to the task, and they don't need to be riding the pine in favor of a veteran with no talent.

    C'mon Ravens... take a chance.

I expected some injuries. This was not one of them.

Yeah...not only am I sure he's pissed that he won't be able to play, but he may have just lost his shot at that big extension we were discussing with him.

Probably gonna have to lean more on multi WR sets. The confidence the FO has shown in the WR corps really has to come thru in production now. I think Doss and Thompson specifically will need to step up. Doss in the slot to do some of that short and intermediate chain moving we expected from Pitta, Thompson to keep Jacoby in an optimal role as a clear out/deep guy, occasional space touches and return threat. I think these young receivers step up, i really do.
