Re: Story of how a Browns fan became a Baltimore Raven
As I've said before...we've got a former Steelers fan in Gradkowski, a former Browns fan in Juice Check....where's our former Bengals fan?

“When I think of a Baltimore Raven - we go in there, we take your lunch box, we take your sandwich, we take your juice box, we take your applesauce, and we take your spork and we break it. And we leave you with an empty lunch. That’s the Baltimore Raven way.” - Steve Smith Sr.
Call me a Special Teams coach again. I dare you! I double dare you, MFer!

This happens all the time in the NFL. Chances are you aren't going to play for your favorite team or even your family's favorite team. Ross Tucker a life long Eagles fan ended up a Redskin. He talks about how his family rooted for him but they couldn't pull for the Redskins against the Eagles.

As the family prepares to become Ravens fans (something that is essentially forbidden in Cleveland), they’ll be donning Ravens jerseys with “Juszczyk” on the nameplate.
By the time they all sit down for their family Thanksgiving dinner this year, they'll actually know what it's like to be thankfull for a winner. ;)Twenty years of Cheers.
Thanks Baltimore Ravens Fans - You're the Best!

Re: Story of how a Browns fan became a Baltimore Raven
That can sometimes be a blessing. I know it is different sports, but sort along the same lines: Chris Davis talked about all the pressure he felt from family and friends every time he played a home game for the Rangers. Upwards of 30 family and friends would come to each game, want to talk to him before-hand, go out afterwards, wanted him to make arrangements for more tickets, etc.
Coming to Baltimore allowed him to put all his focus on the field.
