What a huge game from Asa Jackson and Aaron Mellette, LOVE THESE GUYS

I had put up an article before the game about Tommy Streeter potentially getting cut, and I feel safe to say, he is gone. Man Mellette has been amazing for us the first two games of the preseason.

    Tyrod has been amazing

Both Hamilton and Simon looked good on defense for the later of the game

Tandon Doss had a nice move

I hate that Asa Jackson has a suspension, that kid is really good, Finished with 7 tackles and a punt return which sealed the deal for us.

Who else do you think played well?

Did you know that the Ravens have the most HBCU football players on their roster with 9. Basically 10 percent of our roster is from HBCU schools, you have to give Ozzie credit because these small schoolers are showing up week in and week out.

I remember a few years ago when we were extremely thin at CB, a young and unproven Cary Williams was suspended the first two games. We decided to stick with him, and he turned out to eventually be a solid starter. I don't think that we've heard the last from Asa Jackson.

I agree with you, Asa Jackson needs to stay out of trouble for steroids or substance abuse. This is his second strike, next one and he is done for the year. We need that kid, he is tough

Raven is right, he is going to be good. He led the team with 7 tackles as well. All SOLO

ED Reed said Harbaugh would be a fool to cut Asa. I agreed with The Eyes in the Sky. He's never wrong!

Both Smith and Brown played well as MLBs.

I thought Bynes did as well.

    McCllelan looked ok.

Canty continues to be a disruptor at the line of scrimmage AND in the backfield.
He is a big man and being paired up with Ngata is such a great thing.
Also, Brandon Williams showed he belonged and fought to the whistle and pursued extremely well for a big man. I could see him being added to Ngata and Canty on short yardage and obvious running plays as he gains more experience.

I'm all for giving some of these rookies playing time with the first string since we have definite holes.
I would like to see Furstenburg and Mellette see some time to see if they can actually catch passes from Joe.

I wasn't impressed with Hamilton's wrapping up technique

and wasn't particularly impressed with Nigel Carr's getting off blocks to the play

Definitely want to see Fursty with the 1s but afraid Clark will run with them next week. VS got his time in the sun this week and didn't shine.
