The key phrase is "longest active consecutive playoff streak" soon to be 6th.

So we're the top current franchise with the recent trophy and they hate us.
That is the point but if you don't think so than fine.
    I'm fine with it.

But you didn't say that in your original post.

Re: How can the league not like the Ravens?

It's easy for them, they do it every year. If the Ravens ever falter(like having guys investigated by the police, doing drugs like peds, or the owner loses his SB ring), the talking heads will be happy. Ravens have been a thorn in the NFL's side since they left Cleveland. Really don't care what happens with the NFL as long as the Ravens play decent and give the Baltimore fans something to cheer about.

    Ravens/Steelers, Ravens/Patriots, Ravens/Broncos, all highly rated contests.

The league loves MONEY. Raven75 nailed it quite well in #3 supra except for pointing out that the Ravens have an uncomfortable habit of kicking the crap out of those beloved national franchises.

Which is hilarious because Pittsburgh isnt much bigger of a city than Baltimore.

    Huh?

    Metro Baltimore (2010 census) = 2,710,489

    Metro Pitt = 2,660,840

    center city Baltimore = 621,342

    center city Pitt = 307,484
In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).
