All of which requires subpoenas, which tells me they knew pretty early on and now the paperwork has caught up.

They think AH had a fight with the two victims at a club the night they were killed.

Funny how quick someone's "boys" will flip on them if there is a jail sentence involved.

Problem is that they'll have to sing in court while facing Hernandez. If they live that long.

Maybe I'm wrong here, but wouldn't most Ravens fans have taken Ray's side when he was facing murder charges? I know the circumstances are a lot different, and the current reports show AH being in a lot deeper water than Ray, but honestly, I think this is just New England fans trying to show solidarity with him until the facts are proven.

If they do it after he's convicted, then i'll say it's pretty disgusting.

The circumstances are SO different. I can't even pretend to compare the two. I will say however that if any member of the Ravens was in the similar situation my fandom of the team would not carry over to standing behind a cold blooded murder.

Not that I care to think on the matter much, but the comparison is pretty lopsided IMO.

AH = (very likely) Pre-meditated + (likely) not his first rodeo
Ray = not pre-med + no comparable history

Odd that hernandez was around or involved with the people on the double shooting and yet the police found nothing. Then his shooting in February, how many times have the police looked the other way when hernandez was in the vicinity of the shootings. Sub par work by the police in investigating these crimes may have led to this recent murder. Did sports star status make the police exclude hernandez from being investigated?
Scouts said hernandez had shaky connections, Ray have it also? I doubt it, so hernandez involvement is not the same as Ray. Hernandez was a thug since his dad died, looking for attention to help get over his dads death, Hung with the wrong crowd and never left that crowd. Ray grew up and has done the right thing since disassociating himself from the thug life. hernandez only used his football money to expand on his thug life. Who rents that many cars anyway?

I won't deny things look bad for Hernandez, but it comes down to do you believe in "innocent until proven guilty"? If not, then you can by all means say this looks bad for Hernandez and you should assume that he did these things. But technically speaking, he's not been tried for anything yet. Right now, even the judge yesterday said the case is very circumstancial. All their reasoning right now is based on assumed motives and loose connecting evidence that they believe will eventually be tied to more concrete evidence. If they went to trial with what they've announced so far, I don't know that they'd get a conviction because it's all just theories right now.

I have strong suspicion he did something due to the circumstances, but until the prosecution presents their case and his lawyers get a chance to defend him, there's still a chance he didn't do it.

That said, if tomorrow one of the Ravens gets arrested on suspicion of a murder, I would find it hard to support them remaining on the team and cheering them, even if you assume innocent until proven guilty.
