If he did indeed kill this guy, I wonder what his motive was...

Not so sure about that. It's pretty clear there was some incriminating stuff on the cell phone and security system. And they probably aren't as 'destroyed' as Aaron might have thought. Law enforcement can put completely smashed hard drives back together and get data off of them. Better than witness testimony, they might have the whole thing on video.

Hernandez is going away for a long time. Pretty obvious his "boys" are talking.

Maybe they aren't and the prosecutors are pulling a Ray Lewis all over again.

Maybe, maybe not. Sounds like they have a ton of video evidence from businesses along the way between the home and the crime scene. Also found same .22 ammunition in his home as what was used in the crime, in the gun found, and there was no .22 in the home.

    Judge just ruled no bail.

You've got to love the defense's go-to argument: "It's all circumstantial."

Number one defense attorney's trick... try to convince people that direct evidence is always better than circumstantial evidence. WRONG! That's where shows like Law and Order have misled the public. Direct evidence is basically that a witness testifies that he saw the defendant commit the crime. Circumstantial evidence is pretty much everything else, including fingerprints, ballistics, surveillance, etc...

Some of the best cases are made on circumstantial evidence, which can be MUCH stronger than direct evidence. Many more bad convictions come from faulty witness testimony, i.e. direct evidence, than from bad circumstantial evidence.
