Maybe they did, but because the guy seems to have not wanted to report it, the cops just documented it and moved on. If he wasn't giving up any information on who shot him, or claiming he didn't know, then what can the cops really do?

If I am not mistaken the NBA finals were on with the Rockets vs another team when the OJ car chase began. Maybe there will be one during the finals tonight as well...

Ok, that makes since. It's just my opinion..but that sure sounds like fear and intimidation from ummmm... maybe gang members, etc. lol. But that's just my opinion... And, besides... "he is all tatted up like a member of MS-13".;)

Police are back at the home of New England Patriot's tight end Aaron Hernandez today with another warrant based on evidence that "he destroyed his home security system,'' an investigator close to the case told ABC News.

The investigator, and other law enforcement sources, confirmed that the security system - which included video surveillance - was smashed intentionally.

And a cell phone used by Hernandez was handed over to investigators "in pieces'' by his attorneys, the sources said.

Police also want to know why a team of house cleaners were hired on Monday to scrub Hernandez's mansion, sources told ABC News.

So in addition to the other potential damning evidence now we have a (intentionally) destroyed video surveillance, a destroyed cell phone and a cleaning service

The ABC report contains a sliver of good news for Hernandez. Despite a report from SI.com that Hernandez is “likely” to be arrested, ABC characterizes Hernandez as somewhat farther from doing a perp walk. For now.

“He [Hernandez] has not been ruled out,” a police official told ABC. “We are not calling him a suspect, but he is definitely not in the clear.”

lol...a straight dumbass. Destroying the hardware is meaningless. All of that data has already been replicated, archived and very soon will be transferred to a DVD or two for the county DA's office.
