    Woah.

    I'm laying off of judgements right now, but damn, I didn't expect NE to cut him this early into this.
    Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

    The reason I suspected this is because the Pats (read: Belichick) always seem to go out of their way to prove that no single individual is very important to their success.

    I also suspect the Pats have inside information about the strength of the evidence and the likelihood Hernandez gets convicted of something serious.

    Well, he's only 23 and if we can get him for 700k......
