    Well, if their free cap space can carry over, they'll need for Peyton's contract, because his salary escalates significantly next year. Does it not? (Not saying that was thee reason)

    Manning's Cap number is $17.5M in both 2013 and 2014. It goes up to $21.5M in 2015 and 2016.
