    Draft becoming multi-city affair?

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...i-city-affair/

The idea outlined in the link I don't like personally, but I think every NFL city should get the entire draft. I would go in a heartbeat if it was in Baltimore or Washington.

Moved from the Non-Ravens board ...

During the off season, go ahead and post stuff like this in the main board.

    It's a good discussion topic.

I think your idea of moving the draft around the NFL cities is great. I get really tired of the Jets and Giants being the only (vocal) fans at the draft.

I agree that if it was in Baltimore/Washington I would try my best to get in there.

That would be cool if they did it. Still like the faces of disbelief from Jets fans when their team does a bonehead pick.....

1st Mariner Arena would be the logical choice.

    I'm confused.

Last month we were being told that Radio City Music Hall is so very critical for hosting the event that the NFL was willing to move the date for the entire affair two weeks in order to be sure it could stay there...

...and now we're being told it lacks sizzle and they are willing to put the whole thing on a circus train so it can be paraded around from city to city.

    Please explain.

(Is it just me, or the guys in charge unrepentant assholes?)

I like the sentiment but you guys are kidding yourself that they'd pick a Baltimore location over DC.

LOL - With all it's 12,000 seats? Come on man. Do you know how big the Radio
City Music Hall is? I've been there and it's huge.

And DCs place has about 20,000 seats for basketball. It would get the nod over
us. We could add about 2,000 more chairs in but so could DC.

No way Bmore gets it for the same reason we didn't get an NHL team when they
expanded. The place ain't big enough.

No way this happens. The finally turned the draft into a real money making machine. They aren't going to give that up to take a chance elsewhere.

    Did anyone notice MLBs draft?

It's an exact carbon copy of NFLs show and they even have their
own Kiper sitting at a table with 2 other guys-lol.

The players drafted put the jersey and hat on just like the NFLs.
