Strange not seeing the Ravens on this list

    http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100...starting-group

This link is to an nfl.com article on oldest teams in the NFL. It is really strange not seeing the Ravens on this list after what seems like a decade of being on the oldest NFL team. And I never want to hear another Steelers fan talk about how old the Ravens are on D based on the last paragraph of this article, at least this year.

    ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!

We've had one of the youngest teams over the last few years. It was the presences of Ray and Ed that made the team "feel" and look old. But I agree it's neat going into a season with a lot of fresh faces.

Yeah. Ray and Ed were old. Not the team. Aside from them, noone on D was above 30 last year

According to the statistics in the link found in the article, the Ravens are still 8th oldest on defense and 12th oldest team overall.

The problem is that these lists use the mean (or average) age of a team, so a few old guys can skew the numbers. It would be more interesting to find the median age of NFL teams (the age where 50% of the players are older and 50% younger). That would really let you know how many young players a team has.
