That could happen any time between now until just before the regular season after teams have made their cuts.

My guess is that it happens a week (or 2) before final cuts. We give a conditional 7th (ala Barnes) to some team who is going to cut someone and will take whatever they can get for him.
Caveat is right price, we aren't taking on a big contract in the process... if that is the case, we wait for them to be released. (But I'm not certain if a waiver period in in effect for 24 hours, and we are last in the waiver line)

I agree that he likely won't be a factor this year, but he very well could beat out Reed, LaQuan Williams, and even Streeter. Especially if he can play ST's.

Ozzie will probably sign some mid-level vet that half the board has never heard of like Paris Lennon. Then he'll play great during the season and we'll all be saying we knew it would happen.
