Did you guys see that Lebron block?
OMG...
Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HDAlthough Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Re: NBA playoffs
Spurs started the third great but at midway the 3rd Miami started to dominate. Lets see what happens at SA. Game 3 is a big one

Re: NBA playoffs
Im not sure what even just saw... that was just an extremely odd game. two of the highest scoring teams in the league and not one guy goes over 20. Duncan had a miserable shooting night despite getting plenty of good looks. Bosh played well but Wade doesnt score in the 2nd half? LBJ scores 6 in one half 11 in the other but imo dominated the game more than you could say anybody else did. I have no idea what was wrong with Ginobili but he shouldnt have been out there. I think Kawhi Leonard and Green were the only ones to show up tonight for the Spurs. Odd odd game. I expect better next time from both teams and certainly not 16 TOs for the spurs.

Lebron was doubled a lot or drew coverage with the ball. It seems clear that Pop is willing to bet the likes of Miller etc can't beat them. May change his strategy now
If they hasn't sat LBJ in garbage time he would've had another triple double.

Re: NBA playoffs
I dont know about best ever. Physics wise was impressive, even though James does have 10-15lbs more of muscle than Splitter. the moment itself was kind of meaningless though vs a Tayshawn Prince who actually sealed a win with his late game block on Miller. solid, best ever is tough to call though.

I've always considered Shaq's block on Jordan and Jordan's block on Shaq the 1 and 1a of blocks.
LBJ's was up there though.

Re: NBA playoffs
What makes it the best block for me, is the fact that Lebron didn't knock the ball away (at first).
He went straight up against a man that was running down the lane with forward momentum and stopped him from advancing the ball any further. The physics and the basketball skill involved make it the best for me.

And he never touched him. All ball. Cover of SI material.
