I mean he was better than Williams and Harewood, but is it realistic to expect success with a KO/Reid/Gino/Yanda/Oher line? That sounds awful to me. That's a lot of question marks in front of your 120million man.

What I think happens...assuming no McKinnie...they'll go forward with this lineup until preseason and see how it looks. If it's as disastrous as it sounds (to me) right now, they'll make changes at that point with a scrap heap veteran like Williams, Moll, Anderson, McKinnie in years past. Maybe they'll end up with a guy like the last two, who can provide something adequate for a season or two. Maybe they'll end up with a guy like the first two, who give you nothing. Just have to wait and see. They have put themselves in this position.
If KO does indeed go to LT then it is Jah's job to lose at LG.

If the Ravens are hellbent on not signing McKinnie then I really think the next best option is to sign Eric Winston or Tyson Clabo to play RT and move Oher back to LT. At least that way we all know what we have at LT and Jim Caldwell can game plan effectively.

I got your feeling too. Considering Reid and Harewood were inadequate at LG in 2012. Let's hope that rookies Ricky Wagner (Wisconsin) or Ryan Jensen (S. Colorado) can repeat KO's 2012 success... Bc

6 people added since the signing was announced. LOL

I'm going to laugh if KO ends up starting at LT anyway.

I finally voted Oher just to be different. Actually i think McKinney will eventually get in shape and start, but his history says he won't be ready for game 1. I don't think they'll want to try KO against Denver so they'll probably start Oher for the opener.

sorry, but his history says otherwise, last year is the only year that says he won't be ready for week 1. 4
The year before, we signed him in august up near 400 pounds and he was ready week 1. Last year is the anomoly. That's even if he WASN'T ready week 1, which he likely was.

My bad. I thought he missed the first one year before last. Thanks for the correction. I hope you're right about this year too.

Consider that McKinnie is well insulated, and people just bounce off him ... Bc
