It's not the Jets' drama - it's the media circus that follows Tebow everywhere. That's something the Ravens just don't need. He has a hardcore national following that would clamor for him to start every time Flacco threw an interception or had a QB rating under 80.

It's just not worth it; I don't care how good of a teammate he would be, or how hard he would work.

    I agree with this too.

I'm not selling him as the Ravens' backup.

Just stating that he's better than his reputation, and that he'd be a decent backup for some team.

He's got a lot more Ben Roethelsberger in him, than he has Kyle Boller.

He's a dreadful QB, with awful mechanics, zero accuracy and got VERY lucky against the Steelers.

By all accounts he's a great leader and a great person in general but neither of those attributes make for a decent career in the NFL.

And yet every time he's been given a legitimate shot, all he's done is won football games.

I'm not a big personal "cult of Tebow" guy... in fact, all that crap gets on my nerves. But games are won and lost by more than mechanics.

Then he will get picked up fast, right?

In a league where winning QB's are a premium, he won't be on the street long since "all he's done is win games".

    Right?

    Nope.

He'll be lucky to get a phone call.

    That's kinda the point.

    He's better than his reputation.

He had seven offensive plays for the Jets and six involved offensive penalties.

    He's 8-6 lifetime.

Barely over .500, a completion percentage below 50% and rating in the 70's

I think the 32 GM's around the league are right on this one. His play has made his reputation, nothing else.

How many other NFL QB's are 8-6 in their first 14 games?

Again, my point isn't that he friggin Roger Staubach... only that he's better than his reputation, and he'd make a decent NFL backup QB if not for the baggage of the Jets' experience.

He won football games for Denver like Trent Dilfer won football games for the Ravens.
