but why not try to get one to ensure the success of this offense and flacco in the first 2 rounds?? I'm not an expert by any means i just think if you paid ur franchise QB what you pay him, you don't want him running for his life.

No he's not solid either. He stinks

Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Because you pick at the bottom of the first round, by which point all of the potential starters at LT are long off the board.

As Grubbs said after he left: "The Ravens are all about the defense". He knew what he was talking about. Most of the posters here do not.

I would liked to have gotten a developmental LT somewhere.

Harbs said they worked until 4:30 this morning adjusting the board to make sure they got the right players. I liked this draft and keep in mind it's April. I wouldn't get too concerned about any single position for a while now, there's time...

LT was never going to happen. But WR is a different story. Same with TEs. There were some good ones in this draft. The Ravens came up empty on several fronts. But hey...they got a bunch of D-Linemen. Great.

Defense was terrible last year; setting all time bad records. An injury and we're screwed. Then we lost all of those starters after the Superbowl. They were determined to fix that
