    Ravens feel comfortable with TEO

According to ESPN, Ravens like TEO if he drops to them.

HARBs said we feel comfortable with him. We feel good about him. We look at his entire body of work.

Ozzie said we met with him about the issues and said there are none in reference to
the girl friend hoax last year.

Is that beating his wife? Is that using drugs? Is that getting a DUI?

Todd McShay has Ravens drafting TEO in his latest mock.

BTW, it's ironic Oz mentioned DUI since his former #1 pick Kindle got one after arriving here. Seems like he learned Billick-sp well, ie, BULL SHIT to me and he could be
ignoring some red flags like he did with Kindle. The girl friend hoax was the biggest scandals in college football last year. Notre Dame said it was a major embarrassment to them and Ozzie said it's a non-issue?

    Just saying, ya know.

TEO said he was duped into it. Uh HuH.

TEO isn't gonna drop to them anyway.

Minn has 2 #1s and will probably draft him. Someone will.

Just because they said that doesn mean its true. Someone on another board read the transcript of the presser pre draft last year and the ravens didnt draft one of the 100 odd names mentioned in it. So chances are if they say they like teo, is to try and get a team to take him, or a team to jump ahead of them to take him pushing someone else down.

It's the names they don't mention I'd assume they actually really like

Teo is too soft to be a Raven.. Kind words are all a smoke screen

I just dont see him being BPA at 32, or even in a trade down for that matter. If he gets to 62 they may pull the trigger but i dont think he gets to 62.

When I watched that presser and saw that part, when they were asking the questions (is it a DUI, etc.), I got the impression that the point they were trying to make was that the hoax and his involvement in it was something that they just didn't know how to categorize. Meaning, if Te'o had gotten a DUI, or had some other more common lapse of judgment, they'd know how to evaluate that. My impression from Oz was 'I don't know what is in this kid's head.'

If my impression is correct, I'd guess that they wouldn't draft him. In any event, I really doubt linebacker is the first round pick anyway...

    Great posts and observations guys.

Yea, if Ozzie is saying he likes someone it's a major smoke screen,
Billick speak to throw everyone off whom he really likes.

DeCosta goes around to all the clubs before the draft speaking and
everyone asks do you like this guy or that guy and he says of course.
They'll talking about the top players in the draft but he's trained to
never mention anyone Ravens really want.

He'll mention the top 10 or 20 guys and say they're all great which of
    course they are.

I think he'll be gone before 32 anyway. I also agree with everyone that it doesn't matter what Ozzie or Harbaugh says this time of the year. They never tip their hand.

Ah Gman, but what if he isn't? Question is if he's still available @ pick #32, would Ozzie pull the trigger? Hmmm, I think he might ... Bc

I don't understand the insistence that Te'o is a first round prospect, I really don't. He's just another Rey Mualuga on the field to me.

You make a good point, but I also think that a lot of that is a mere coincidence too. They showed public interest in nearly everyone they drafted last year through a combination of private work outs, combine meetings, reports from Aaron Wilson etc....

I think its really the top ranked prospects that they don't like to talk about because the first round is obviously the most important one.

Some guys are posting that Minter isn't a first round draft pick too but both
will probably be drafted before our turn.

I'm really hoping for Cyprien at this point like I did Jimmy in his draft.
