Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Re: My Final 7 Round (Ravens only) Mock Up
bmorecareful - great stuff. I think if I were to re-do mine, I may have them looking at LB a bit different with the whole Rolando McClain debacle going on.
I kind of agree about Harper though. I'm not entirely sold on him and I think there may be better options at WR in the 4th round, but we shall see. The Ravens really need to draft at least 1 receiver and Harper's straight-line speed at 233lbs is pretty impressive. It is also difficult to gauge Harper coming out of K-State's offense because Collin Klein was putrid as a passing QB. That guy probably won't even be drafted.
I love the Kyle Juzscyk pick. I had him going a lot earlier (4th round to Arizona).Disclaimer: The content posted is of my own opinion.

Re: My Final 7 Round (Ravens only) Mock Up
He's not my favorite receiver in the class, not by a long shot, but it seems like the Ravens are very interested as are the Packers, and I trust those teams' scouting departments. I didn't like him a lot when I first watched him but he does show flashes on tape.
By measurables I can see the Marcus Smith comparison, but I do think Harper has more upside. He came to KSU as a QB, so he is still learning the WR position, but he already has hands and athleticism that Smith never had.

Re: My Final 7 Round (Ravens only) Mock Up
I get the Ravens and Packers interest stuff.
But don't forget that Marcus Smith was a running back for 2 of his 4 years at New Mexico State and still out produced Harper...so Smith was still raw and learning the WR position as well.
Smith did have pretty bad hands.
But I just don't see Harper doing much better at the pro level. JMHO.Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story.
