    Pretty ridiculous. I know my school had issues with any gun references though. I dont think its new but to make such a big deal that you arrest an 8th grader over it? Teacher needs to let it go.

    Just read a follow up article on this.

    He was allowed to come back to school and when he did, he and 100 other students all wore the same shirt as a sign of support.

    I guess it shows how the times have changed. There was a time that the NRA was one the most, if not the most influential special interest group that there was, and no politician would dare cross with them. I guess it's been passed by PETA, all of the equality groups, and the anti-gun groups.

    Not that I really have a stance on gun rights either way.
