Pretty sure that the Raven's have thoroughly vouched on this kid. You have the AL connection, Nick Saban, Terrance Cody, Hue Jackson (Oak), Huff (Oak), Upshaw, and Ozzie to use as a reference on this move.

Apparently PFF had McClain as the number 7 ILB last year against the run, and he was 3rd best in lowest missed tackles.

They had and still have a lot of talent but they constantly paid the wrong price.

Yes. That's the only way this would be good for the Ravens. I'd love it if it was similar to the deal the 49ers signed Asomugha for. Lots of incentives and no guaranteed money.
