The post your mock here thread....

With only 16 days till the draft I wanted to see what direction everyone thinks the Ravens are going in. Feel free to post your mock here. You can go into great detail or just list the picks. You can do all seven rounds or as little as you want.

    I'll start things off......

Here's what I have right now. It does include a hypothetical trade. The Ravens trade their 1st(32) to Arizona for the Cardinals 2nd(38) and 4th(103).

*2(38) Jonathan Cyprien, SS, Florida International

2(62) Jonathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State

    3(94) Aaron Dobson, WR, Marshall

    *4(103) Nico Johnson, SILB, Alabama

4(129) David Quessenberry, OT, San Jose State

    4(130)c T.J. McDonald, FS, USC

    5(165) Jelani Jenkins, OLB, Florida

    5(168)c Khaled Holmes, C, USC

    6(199) Kwame Gathers, DT, Georgia

    6(200) Eric Martin, OLB, Nebraska

    6(203)c Joseph Fauria, TE, UCLA

7(238) Tommy Bohanon, FB, Wake Forest

I could quibble a little with certain player selections--not a huge fan of Nico Johnson or Khaled Holmes--but that's a damn fine mock. Addressed a number of needs and acquired some very talented players, including several guys who could very well emerge as year-one starters or major contributors like Cyprien, Dobson, Hankins, and one of the ILBs. Quessenberry and Eric Martin are also two of my favorite sleepers in the draft. Well done!

I would really like Cyprien with the first pick but I'd take Elam for a consolation prize. Hankins in the 2nd would be tremendous value. If the draft played out like this though I think my favorite pick would be Dobson. I don't know how many people got to watch him play @ Marshall but I really think he can fill Boldens spot. He's a very tall receiver (6'3"), runs great routes and isn't afraid to go over the middle. I think he has the best hands of any receiver in the draft this year. He's also faster then people give him credit for. I think he ran a 4.45 at his pro-day (which is not bad) but imo he plays faster then that. I would like to see him maybe add 10 lbs of muscle. He seems a little too lean. Quessenberry would be a great pick, especially if they can plug someone else into LT for a year and give Castillo a year to develop him further.

I am going to work off your trade as well because that seems realistic and I am expecting a trade back. Only did 4 rounds:

2(38): Johnathon Cyprien, S, Florida International

    2(62): Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee

    3(94): Kiko Alonso, ILB, Oregon

    4(103): Kevin Reddick, ILB, UNC

    4(129): Chris Faulk, T, LSU

    4(130): Nick Kasa, TE, Colorado

I don't think Cyprien will be there at 32 let alone 38.

It's very possible. It just seems like every year there is always one (and sometimes more) players the Ravens have in the top 20 of their board that fall to the end of the 1st or beginning of the 2nd. We'll see if he's one of those players and if he's not I wouldn't be too disappointed if they got Elam instead. I doubt both of them will be gone before the 32nd or even 38th pick. This draft is too deep with safeties.

I wouldn't mind picking those 2 guys, plus having another 4th round draft choice, but my (expanding) gut tells me that both may be gone before Ozzie gets a chance to hand in the Ravens' card. It may be close, but unfortunately no cigar... Bc

Agreed. Cyprien is going to get drafted before Vaccoro IMO, he is just so good and if he was at a bigger school, I'm pretty sure there'd be talk about him going in the top 10.

Obviously Vaccoro is a very good player too, and we should look at him at 32, but I'm not sure he drops to that pick either.

If Vaccoro was there at 32, I'd be running to the podium with our pick!

I'd actually love to see Ozzie run to the podium lmao.

Pretty good draft as well. I love Alonso on the field but with all of his off the field baggage I don't think I could take him unless he dropped to the 4th. Chris Faulk could be a very nice sleeper. If it wasn't for his injury he'd probably could have been a 1st or 2nd round selection.
