Joe Flacco clearly doesn't care enough about football and has gone totally Hollywood. Wonder if its too late to trade him to Cleveland for a first and a third. ;)
My motto was always to keep swinging. Whether I was in a slump or feeling badly or having trouble off the field, the only thing to do was keep swinging. -Hank Aaron

For the record I support Joe in all his extracurricular endeavors. :)

According to the article Joe is just doing the "under the helmet" scenes because even his father says "Joe is dull" lol.

Seriously tho i think it's fantastic that our present day Super Bowl MVP is going to portray the greatest QB of all time. BTW, you ought to check out the two clips on Unitas in the link. The second one has Johnny U as the 5th best QB "in the clutch" and every commentator on there is like '5th? You gotta be kiddin me!' Anyways Gerry Sandusky is at the end. He explains that Baltimore was the only City that started games at 2pm so people could go to church before going to see Unitas. Gerry says "In Baltimore the day began with God and ended with god, and there is only one place to rank God and that's in the number 1 spot."
    Twenty years of Cheers.

(I realize this is O/T but IMO the record needs to be set straight.)

Sandusky is, as usual, mostly wrong. He ignores (for the sake of making a rather lame point) that Orioles Sunday games at Memorial Stadium never started before 2 PM either, for the same reason:

Memorial was in the middle of a residential neighborhood encompassing several churches. None of them had much off-street parking. Parking restrictions for a home game starting at 1 PM would have made it tough for anyone beyond walking distance to attend services that ended later than 11 AM.

Similarly the O's had a curfew (no inning could start after 11:45 PM) so the lights, noise & traffic wouldn't keep neighbors who might have to go to work or school next morning awake into the wee hours.

It was all about being respectful of the neighborhood--nothing more & nothing less.
