I meant more about because they have 49m in cap space next year, they are about to turn it around. Cleveland had more cap space this year, and I am seeing no more than 6 wins for them.

69 mil in cap space. I agree though that it won't be why they are successful. They need a good draft, and they need to fill a lot of holes.

The problem is that you can't build a team through free agency in the NFL. The Redskins are a prime example, and the Dolphins will soon prove this theory true once again. You build your team through the draft and add pieces through FA. That is the way the best teams do it and it shows.

Spending that 49 million in cap space, through Free Agency, would defeat the purpose of cleaning up the mess of the previous regime in the first place.

I really doubt McKenzie would do that. He comes from the Packers FO that prides itself on building through the draft much like the Ravens do.

With QB Caleb Hanie now on the books, the Ravens are $3,845,252 under the Salary Cap. Will get an additional $2.5M for Pollard on 6/2.
