    Right.

The Minutemen and Sons of Liberty were the original "patriots" of the 1770s. Sam Adams and Paul Revere. Anf Disney's mythical movie character Johnny Tremaine, "from Old Boston Towne, remember his name: he fought against the crown" (for the benefit of those of us old enough to remember the Johnny Tremaine movie, costumes and minuteman rifles at toy stores, and record album).

The Boston/New England Patriots used to have a great logo. old-patriots-logo.jpg.
In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).

NE would be even more pissed at us now if we had beaten them as The Americans and so would Dallas as the so called America's Team. They would have said how dare Baltimore call themselves the Americans but with Ft McHenry and Annapolis actually being the capitol of the country once and with the Naval Academy there, and Baltimore was actually the 2d largest city in the country at one time, it would have been oh so appropriate.

I voted for Americans as the name and so did John Steadman.

All the alternative names SUCKED. Period.

Colts or just moving the Stallions name and logo into the NFL would have been fine but the league would never have allowed that despite Denver stealing our CFL logo.

    Ravens = perfect!
    Baltimore Football Championships
    Ravens 2000, 2012
    Stallions 95 CFL
    Stars 85 USFL
    Colts 58, 59, 70

Denver didn't steal the logo. The cash strapped Speros sold it to them.

Y'all need to take history again. I'm talking before there were things called capitals.

Boston Tea Party? Boston Massacre? The birthplace of the Declaration of Independence?

Watch the HBO mini series "John Adams" if you need a refresher.

Boston not listed once. Maybe you should get your history from places other than HBO.

P.S. I'd rather enjoy one of the libations of Johns Adams 2nd cousin.

I get my history from David McCullough and others, not wiki like you.

What do capitals have anything to do with anything?!?!

The revolution did happen. It was fomented in New England.

Are you seriously telling us you know nothing about the revolution or the events leading up to it and the sum knowledge of your American revolutionary history is wrapped up in which cities served as the capital of the US?

I feel sad for ya, bro.
