Tommy Streeter...
What are the odds he sees some playing time this year?
I've been pretty high on the guy since I watched him play at the U.

Re: Tommy Streeter...
He'll definitely get a shot. I think he'll make the final 53 as well.
Being on the active game-day rosters? Not sure about that yet. I think he would have had to REALLY improve in order to crack the top 5 on the depth chart.
Still, his size alone is something the Ravens don't have. I would LOVE to see this guy put it together and become a #2/#3 guy pushing Doss into the Y receiver position. He was just so raw last year. The odds are against him ever realizing his full potential.Disclaimer: The content posted is of my own opinion.

Re: Tommy Streeter...
Our WR depth is quite suspect. No matter who we draft, the 3rd and 4th slots are completely up for grabs. Streeter needs to demonstrate that he knows the offense (this is what kept Doss on the sidelines), can stay healthy (this is what kept Reed on the sidelines) and make the tough catch (this is where both Doss and LaQuan have disappointed; albeit within small sample sizes).

Re: Tommy Streeter...
Have to believe every WR on the roster presently and whomever they draft will be given plenty of chances to show what they can do in Camp and Preseason. Who knows right now? I do think he has an uphill battle to make the roster when you factor in we'll almost certainly be drafting one, if not two, and we probably only have two spots that aren't locked in. To clarify that, I think Smith, Jones, and Doss are all obvious locks, and I think David Reed is a pretty safe bet to make the roster, since the staff seems to really like him, but that can always change when we get to July and August if a guy really lights it up. Don't see them carrying more than 6 WRs, even if Jones is more of a specialist.

Re: Tommy Streeter...
Exactly. If the Ravens spend a 2nd or 3rd round pick on a WR, chances are that guy is going to make it as well, and I'm not sure I would put Doss in the "lock" category just yet. But guys like Streeter, Williams, Thompson - they are all probably on the outside looking in at this point. But it's still March.

Re: Tommy Streeter...
Streeter will get an opportunity to show what he can do. If he produces he will be around. There will be healthy competition for the #3 on down spots @ WR on this roster. That is something I like so long as one or hopefully two of them emerges.

Re: Tommy Streeter...
Is anyone else really excited about Deonte Thompson? The guy looks pretty damn good to me. Granted, I live in PA so I was only able to see one preseason game, but he looked really crisp, quick, and made catches with his hands, not body.

Re: Tommy Streeter...
My prediction at the end of the day it's going to be Thompson around and not Streeter. They are similar players in that they are speedy deep threats, but as of right now Thompson has impressed. Can Streeter make up his ground? Of course, but he has a lot of ground to cover

Re: Tommy Streeter...
I was really impressed with the kid last preseason. I believe the Ravens like both these guys potential. If they did not like any of these guys (Doss, Streeter, Thompson) then I believe that they would have been more likely to keep Boldin. Yes Ozzie puts values on players but who is sitting behind them impacts the monetary value of a player to a team. The Ravens are not exempt.

I think they both will be around especially if Streeter put the work in as far as route running and catching. I disagree with them both being the same type player solely on Streeter being a better RZ threat based on size. They both are fast but I would think one is better out wide n the other in the slot
