Ed has left. No contract signed.

Re: Ed Reed to Houston?
Ed is just being Ed, he should just retire for real. He's being really frustratingly selfesh here, the Texans bring him in and treat him that well and he doesn't even sign, thats really disrespectful IMO. Losing respect for Reed like mad over these last few weeks.

Re: Ed Reed to Houston?
If I were Ed Reed getting lowball offers and I really want to play at least one more year, I am taking the lowball offer from the team I spent my whole career with and leveraging that to further cement my legendary status. Its a better ending to the story than taking a few more bucks from say the Texans and going out that way.
For the Ravens if they get him at really nice price how can you turn that down? He is not the Ed Reed of years past but he still has skills that good football team could certainly utilize. He provides your team some continuity through a transition period also.
That's the best way this whole thing could turn out for everyone. Makes to much sense so watch it not happen but for now will hope it could“A linebacker's job is to knock out running backs, to knock out receivers, to chase the football,”

Re: Ed Reed to Houston?
this was my theory all along
Aaron Wilson @RavensInsider
One source predicted that Ed Reed would shop the deal around, but that he eventually gets something done with Houston. We'll see
